2026 Garbage and Recycling Schedule
New Year's Day (Thursday January 1st) - NO pickup on Thursday January 1st. Thursday pickup will be one day later than normal.
Memorial Day (Monday May 25th) – NO pickup on Tuesday May 26th. All collections one day later than normal.
Independence Day (Saturday July 4th) – Normal pickup all week.
Labor Day (Monday September 7th) – NO pickup on Tuesday September 8th. All collections will be one day later than normal.
Thanksgiving Day (Thursday November 26th) – Normal pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday pickup will be done on Friday November 27th.
Christmas Day (Friday December 25th) – Normal pickup all week.

Both garbage AND recycling are collected weekly. Please make sure your bins are roadside by 6:00 a.m. to ensure proper collection.

LARGE ITEM PICK UP:
If you have a large item you would like to picked up, please contact GFL at 920-983-3341. They will schedule the pick up and let you know what the charge will be.

WINTER WEATHER REMINDERS:
If it is snowing / blowing please keep your bin back off of the roadway so the plows can go through. Due to bad weather, the Garbage & Recycling collection may not be at the regular time that you are used to; the trucks may be running late due to weather conditions or breakdowns, please leave your bins out for collection.

NEW TO HOBART?:
If you're moving into an existing home, your bins will be at the home when you arrive. If you're moving into a newly built home, please call the office at (920) 869-1011 to get bins delivered to your home.
